Challenge:
DataZen Engineering’s Twitter account had been stagnant for years, with follower growth stuck below 350. The company needed an active presence to boost brand awareness and industry credibility.
Solution:
I implemented a strategic content plan focused on consistency, engagement, and audience targeting. My approach included:
- Posting Schedule: I created a monthly social media calendar and got it approved by my manager. I then scheduled posts using Hootsuite (later shifted to Buffer).
- Optimal Timing: I researched US time zones and scheduled posts at 8 AM (to appear when users start their workday) and 6 PM (when they finish work).
- Content Strategy:
- Informative posts (industry trends, case studies, company updates).
- Engagement tactics (tagging relevant companies, using trending hashtags from US-based trending tools).
- Community interactions (commenting and complimenting posts from industry peers to encourage mutual collaboration).
- Graphic Design: I independently designed all social media graphics to ensure visual consistency.
Results:
- Increased Twitter followers by 500% from 350 to 1,500 in six months.
